Well, here's what I got.
Name: Mark Maser Occupation: Freelance Guy with a Gun. Skills: Shooting things and Talking. Intelligent: Enough.
Mark was a promising young man just like every other promising young man out there. He was going to college for his art degree, practiced shooting as a hobby, and was working part time as a maintenance assistant to cover the bills. His life was going fairly well all things considered.
And then a young girl possessed by a demon chopped his left arm off with an ax. Mark, not being the type to let something like that get him down, and now aware there there was seriously something wrong with the world, quite his job, dropped out of school, and began to investigate all things supernatural. Investigate them hard. With bullets.

You can do it from here or there. Just make your character and post it in one of the threads. It will all be very fluid.

Sorry for the delay, had some issues with my purchasing device and also a huge exam. Building a character as we speak and rather looking forward to seeing these mechanics in action.

Don't get too excited over the actual game mechanics, it's a bare bones structure that heavily emphasizes roleplaying.

Not too excited. But I'm making a sheet anyway, and it is done! (And hopefully I didn't mess anything up.) But so we can proceed: Name: Trenton Priest Occupation: Former lawyer (specialized in the making of unfair settlements), currently hunter-of-the-occult Skills: Powers of persuasion, manipulation; knifeplay; more or less unfazeable Intelligent: Slightly above average, more cleverness than knowledge Was a practicing attorney before he encountered his first evidence of the supernatural. Convinced there are things that go bump in the night - things that would drive most men insane to see - he has dedicated himself to finding and understanding all things weird and hidden, and aims to discover the best way of keeping the public from learning about them. He is keenly aware that even he may not be immune to the effects of learning some of the deeper truths, but unfortunately he is much too curious for his own good.

Wow, that sounds like my character kinda.
Except mines missing an arm. So he's cooler.

I really only gave mine shooting because I figured being a lawyer wasn't enough to fight ghoulies. Or maybe it is....in any event, I noticed that you had a more physical character, and the other guy (girl? Natasha, but then again, Internet) is more mental (but not yet insane), so I went with a socially empowered character. Hopefully Charisma's not the dump stat in WoD.
EDIT: If you're uncomfortable with their similarity, I could change out gunplay for skill with knives or something; it just made more sense for him to go "oh, zombies" *pick up gun* than "oh, zombies" *slide out the ol' bowie knife*
EDIT2: You know what, I'm gonna do that. It sounds cooler the more I think about it: in order to keep his cool whilst litigating, he engages in knifeplay as a hobby. A violent pasttime to contrast his usually stoic demeanor.

There is no dump stat in WoD, as far as I've found. If anything, they are all dump stats, because the game emphasizes making as few rolls as possible. Regardless, charismatic characters are more powerful here than in any other system I've seen.
Natasha is my ladyfriend. You're right that she went mental.
EDIT: After more observation, you may have made a mistake in your interpretation. You have 'expert' level Weaponry, which is for melee weapons. Ranged weapons (such as guns and crossbows and things) are represented by Firearms. So right now, you are more likely to pull a bowie knife.
EDIT2: Oh, okay, nevermind.

Hey Grake, how come I can't see more than one of the threads in your DnD subsection? You don't want me playing games with your friends? What's that all about? Huh? Huh?

The D&D section is run by Logan, and has been inactive for some time. Also, threads fall off the page after 30 days. A button on the bottom lets you see anything older than that.
I will post to the WoD thread soon.
