EEEFail

My EEEpc's wireless card stopped working. At first it was just a matter of booting to the BIOS and changing it so that WLAN was enabled, but then it started to just turn off on start up. Then I installed Eeebuntu and it worked a little longer, but you had to put in a few boot parameters, but then it started saying that those were unknown parameters and then wireless didn't work at all. So I just used an ethernet cable for awhile, no problem, kind of makes the mobility of an eeepc pointless, but I can deal. But then one day it stopped working so that plugging in ethernet cables didn't connect you to the internet either. So I've gone from having a netbook, to just having a book. What the fuck. random.
