Maybe you knew this already, but LTW's favorite show (SAW, of course) is on Hulu.  In case you want it in a higher quality than however-else-you-were-watching-it.

First of all it is not my favorite show, AD is my favorite show.... MY favorite animated show it probably a toss up between SaW and Eva. But yeah thats cool there on Hulu now.

None of those things really has anything to do with any of the others. Colbert

I think the idea is that whoever made that collage was attempting to place all four of those things on the same level, perhaps claiming that drawings in the 'anime' style can be considered art though they often aren't, and that some great masterpieces have been created and ignored simply because of the style in which they were rendered (I assume the two sculptures are well-known art, though I am not well-versed in that sort of thing). I've noticed that Jane likes to post things without explaining them, so I could be wrong, but that is my interpretation.

Van Gogh fits your assessment, but the other two I don't think so. The second one on the top looks like a totem from Africa or something, and while those are treaetd as art nowadays they were also recognized as such in their tribal heyday. The third one seems to be a Chinese (?) lion, which is an old, old symbol from folklore/mythology, again, nothing to do with art per se, it has significance to it.

Anime and the Van Gogh are two things of the similar kind, and the totem and the lion are two things of the same kind. Not much correlation imo.

It's clearly the evolution of art. Through warped timespace. Notice how Van Gogh's self-portrait grows more and more anime-like with every passing step, until he finally accomplishes his dream of being a woman.

EDIT: Also, Gag, they're all portraits. The second two are from Van Gogh's "ultra-realism' phase, where he would spend months at a time in front of his easel, using his colored pencils to meticulously capture every detail of the figures he was trying to represent.

The picture of the woman was one of Van Gogh's final portraits, during his 'holy shit, life really is meaningless' phase.
