Are they really that similar, aside from being "blue-haired girls" ?

- The witch type person near the end there with the cyan speech bubble is difficult to read at my resolution, I can't imagine how it must be at a lighter resolution. You might want to change the text to black.
I think the new font will fix the problems.
- What's the point of those towers in the desert? Why do they stick people on top of them with no way of communicating if they get in trouble? And what do they eat up there, and it must be goddamn hot sitting in the desert with no shelter on top of those stupid things. Does the airship come by every hour or what?
The towers are the only viable defence the desert settlement has against the monsters living in the desert; as the people on them actively attract monsters away from the buildings without the monsters being able to reach/attack them.
As for food/what they do; my backgrounds were worse when it came to detail back then, but all the large metal chunks on the side of the crownest are essentialy storage space where they store weapons and food/drinks that last a long time, allowing anyone to man a crownest for roughly a whole day.
Sitting up there being bored is a better option than monsters suddenly entering the village without warning, and being forced to fight them unexpectedly when they do.
- I think you divorced the comic from the "video game text box" thing too abruptly. I prefer the speech bubbles and they're so much easier to do, but I think you should keep a few text boxes in so it's not so sudden a transition.
Already made the full transition, I may use the portraits at some point in the future though.
- If the grandfather is the strongest guy in Desertville then how did he get tied up by bandits so easily at the beginning? And what were they doing delivering hay in a forest anyway if they live in the middle of the desert?
I really do feel like they're different enough to make them distinct characters, portrait, setting, outfit; a lot of things are clearly different between the two.
- The barbarian hero guy, the diplomat and the teleporting sardonic character are fantastic, good work with them.
Thank you.
And there's a reason we "know" less about Tobi than the other two, she's not . . . quite
the same as Noah & Burk are.
Just uploaded page 111 btw.
