Oh lord, some of the stuff that happens when high. Okay so, we're all in a bunkie (or something to that affect), and one guy remembers a story that recently happened. One of our friends, we'll call him J, worked for his dad for a day. So his dad walks up to J, and goes "Hey J, want twenty dollars?" J obviously goes "YES!" Then his dad pulls out $20 more and goes "WELL, WANT ANOTHER TWENTY?!" When we got to that point in the story, J spits his drink all over the storyteller in laughters, and falls backwards giggling like a madman. Needless to say, everyone else laughed hard. It lasted like half an hour, until someone else came out to the bunkie, wonder why we were laughing so hard. Apparently we could be heard across the whole yard.
Hrm. Story's a lot better if it's told in person.

No, it's pretty solid to assume that if you're in a trusting relationship, and the other person won't let you do something they enjoy, they're fuckin' selfish assholes, in 99% of cases.
I am, however, very opinionated and judgemental towards others with certain cases. I mean, my relationship isn't perfect, but, damn, man, you're forbidden? That's when I'd walk out the door and easily get a better deal.
Trust doesn't have much to do with the fact that somebody is disgusted by the idea of pot. I mean, the ball goes both ways. My girlfriend gets SO annoyingly emotional and unreasonable when she's drunk, so I really try to persuade her NOT to get drunk. The occasional drink and buzz is alright, but I've pretty much told her not to get drunk anymore because it usually ends up with her running into traffic or getting mad at her friends for no reason. So if she can't drink to get drunk, I can not smoke pot. That sounds fair to me, I can live with that. See it's more reasonable to make snap judgements about things when you know what you're talking about.

Nothing unreasonable about your partner being concerned about what they think is a dangerous action. If you disagree to the point to being vehemently opposed and bitter towards them, your viewpoints are far too different to really be compatible.

I wouldn't mind being a mod who doesn't need to do anything if we move.

I don't even understand the point of mods on this forum, though that only makes it more surprising when one of them you weren't aware of starts editing posts.

Actually, I think her concern is rather unreasonable. We've had long discussions where I point out how unharmful it is and how helpful it is to me and how it hasn't really done anything negative to our relationship, but she just holds that it bothers her because the people she knew in high school that smoked pot weren't the best of friends to her. I think on the new forum everyone should be a mod. I still call admin though.

I agree with Blake. But then again, I believe in all of the positive points of pot. I'm a worrying person, and when I smoke, nothing bothers me.
I've become very good at laughing at everything anyways, but the fact that something can remove the effort is amazing.
Case and point: I've never seen a pothead with a bad attitude. A drunk (not accusing here)? Nothing but, at least half of the time. I can argue this all day though.

It's not a debate with your fellow forumites about marijuana or alcohol, though, it's a debate with your partner. And if they have such radically different views that it affects your life, you need to work that stuff out.
I had a girlfriend once who liked popping ecstasy once a month and smoking cigarellos in my presence, and she had a similar attitude as these posts, which, while reasonable in an Ayn Rand sort of way, is very stressful for the partner when you're stubborn and obnoxious about it and unable to accept differing viewpoints.
Seriously, she dumped me because I took offense to her tricking me into going outside so she could smoke.

I have been neither stubborn nor obnoxious toward her about it, only respectful. But if I'm going to be respectful of her, she also should be respectful of me, which I don't feel like she has.

Let's give it another month or two of no Andy, but I think we should move after that. Three-four months of absentee landownerism? That's kind of extreme.

If the forum suddenly disappears one day, can someone please inform me of where the new one is through an Xbox email?

Maybe this is the ideal time to retake the land in the name of the Third Estate, and push the Trollish Aristmincracy out of Cojawfeece.
